Octoberfest Food Vendor Sign Up – 2010

Benefits of participating:

  • All food vendors participate free of charge and the Chamber will set up all tables, linens, plates, bowls, forks, spoons and napkins
  • Free Advertising-Business listed on marshfieldchamberofcommerce.com home page with text linkage, from the day you commit until December 2010.
  • Business logo/name will be on advertising for the event and on event day banners.
  • Exposure of your business name and business food products to over 1500 attendees
  • Name recognition, networking and distribution of marketing materials to all attendees
  • Business name listed on t-shirts worn by over 50 volunteers on event day (an many days after!)
  • Name recognition for participating in community events.

Guidelines for food vendors:

  • July 1st commitment date is suggested, all brochures and marketing posters will be printed soon after that date.
  • The earlier you commit, the more free advertisement you will receive.
  • Provide food in one or more of the following categories, chowder, chili, mini appetizers or mini desserts
  • All portions are samples, a 1-2 bite sample, or mini size portion
  • Provide a cooling or heating instrument for the food (steam tables recommended)
  • Provide at least one or more persons at your assigned table from 1:30pm-7:00pm
  • Participants are responsible for their own clean up. A dumpster will be provided, trash can be placed in the dumpster or taken with you.
  • Provide (optional) take out menus/advertisements/coupons for your business
  • Food should be brought to the grounds completely prepared.


The Marshfield Chamber of Commerce will provide:

  • Tents, tables, linens, paper products, plates, forks, spoons and bowls
  • Advertising signs for each participant/sponsor
  • Punch cards for tasting (each person should visit your table only once)

Other Considerations:

  • The food provided by each business should be scaled for a tasting size portion. 
  • The bowls provided for chili and chowder will be small (approx. 3oz.) and any appetizers or dessert portions should served mini in size.
  • Please indicate which of the following you will be serving for the festival. 
  • An Octoberfest German theme is encouraged but not required.
  • The event will be cancelled by the Chamber in the event of inclimate weather.
